Similar to radio and TV in days of old (that would be prior to expensive cable and satellite options) this website full of wonderful information is 100% free to the reader – you’re welcome – because money received from advertising pays the bills.

In an effort to protect the consumer from false or misleading advertisement, the FTC in 2009 created the FTC’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising which requires that bloggers (along with marketers, celebrity endorsers, and many others) disclose the connection between themselves and advertisers.

It’s the law, but I also personally believe in being fully transparent.

I respect my readers and value the trust they have in me and would never recommend a product or service, regardless of the commission involved, unless I fully believed it was of value to them.
